When it came to designing my packaging and establishing my brand, I let my inner stylist loose! I knew it needed to be a beautiful container that would be proudly displayed on any counter top (so you would remember to take it!). I knew there had to be a clean folded spoon on top (my pet peeve is digging through powder to find the scoop...ew). Thus, the gorgeous, gold Shore Magic folded spoon was born. I also knew I needed a ribbon pull to easily open, so no one would break a nail.
When I developed Shore Magic, I knew a luxurious, pure, effective collagen deserved a container that would reflect the beauty of what is inside. More than that, I wanted only the best for MY customer! I spent weeks researching what I wanted the packaging to look like. I knew it had to be one of a kind and it had to reflect my vision – vision of a beautiful pure product that came from the ocean, elegant, like the cruise ships of the art deco era, pure luxury, but totally sustainable. When I got the first design made, I fell in love. It was exactly what I had envisioned. My attention to detail was even translated into our skincare packaging which is 100% recyclable. Many of the people in my inner circle didn’t fall in love with the packaging, but I went with my gut. I knew it was authentically me, it was so right. In fact, it ended up growing on everyone and they came to love it. I get so many comments from people who love my packaging, my branding and my spoon! There are still very few people who claim they don’t like it, but hey – you can’t please everyone!
